ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Sigrid
I'm a UX designer with a background in interaction design, web development, and graphic design. I design thoughtful digital experiences by grounding decisions in research, testing, and a strong understanding of both users and technical constraints.
With a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design and hands-on experience across the design process, I'm especially focused on how structure, clarity, and small design decisions shape usability in real-world contexts.
My Journey
I started my career in web development, where I quickly saw how design decisions directly affect usability, accessibility, and user frustration. That perspective led me to study Interaction Design, allowing me to combine technical understanding with a user-centered design mindset.
I spent three years working professionally as a web designer with a strong focus on UX/UI, applying these principles in real products and collaborative, cross-functional environments.
During my studies, I worked hands-on with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing across a wide range of projects, from practical tools like food budgeting solutions to more exploratory work within animal-computer interaction. These projects taught me to design with users, not just for them, and to iterate based on evidence rather than assumptions.
I enjoy working closely with others and value clear communication throughout the design process, especially when translating research insights into concrete design decisions that teams can align around.

Outside of UX
When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me sewing my own clothes, gaming, reading, and staying active at the gym. I also spend a lot of time outdoors walking my dog Nellie, a routine that helps me reset and reflect.
Let's create something meaningful together
I'm looking for opportunities where I can contribute my research-driven approach and technical understanding to create user-centered digital experiences.
